New arthritis injection trial halted before starting

NCT ID NCT05622175

Summary

This early-stage study aimed to test the safety and find the right dose of an experimental drug called F8IL10, given as injections directly into inflamed joints of people with rheumatoid arthritis. The trial was designed for patients whose arthritis flared up despite being on standard background medications. However, the study was withdrawn by the sponsor before any participants were enrolled.
