New drug trial aims to rescue failing livers

Summary

This study is testing a new drug called F573 for people with serious liver injury or failure. It aims to see if the drug is safe and can help control liver damage. About 97 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo injection daily for up to 28 days, along with standard care. Researchers will closely monitor liver health, side effects, and survival for 90 days.
