New home eye test could transform monitoring for blinding disease
NCT ID NCT06518512
Summary
This study is testing a new automated eye-tracking system called AVIGA. It aims to help doctors monitor vision changes in people with wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) more easily and objectively. The system tracks where a person looks to detect problems with central vision, potentially allowing for monitoring from home. The goal is to see if this tool can reliably track disease activity and help guide treatment decisions.
