First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study aimed to create a non-invasive eye-tracking software to detect cognitive changes linked to neurological disorders. Researchers tested 300 healthy adults with simple cognitive tasks and eye movement tests. The data will help train machine learning algorithms to track disease progression. The study was terminated early, but the software may eventually aid in monitoring conditions like multiple sclerosis or dementia.
