Can eye tracking reveal hidden effects of thyroid eye disease?
NCT ID NCT07381413
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study uses a non-invasive eye tracker to measure how well people with Thyroid-Associated Ophthalmopathy (TAO) can move their eyes and pay attention to faces. Researchers will compare 100 participants, including patients and healthy volunteers, to see if the disease causes measurable differences in eye stability and scanning patterns. The goal is to better understand the physical and social impact of TAO, which could help guide future treatments.
