First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests a special eye-tracking tool to help patients in the ICU who cannot speak or move normally. The tool lets them communicate by looking at a screen. Researchers want to see if it reduces frustration, anxiety, and time spent in the ICU. About 54 adults will use the device for two days, and their results will be compared to those who get standard care.
