NCT ID NCT04582149

Summary

This study tested a wearable device called EyeControl that helps critically ill patients on breathing machines communicate. The device uses eye movements and blinks to let patients answer questions and call for help. Researchers wanted to see if the device was safe, easy to use, and could be learned by patients in the intensive care unit.
