New Eye-Tracking test could spot autism in babies as young as 9 months

NCT ID NCT05916430

Summary

This study aims to test if a simple eye-tracking test can help screen 9-month-old infants for autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays. Researchers will measure how babies look at social scenes during a pediatric visit and track their development until age 2. The goal is to create an objective screening tool that could help identify children who need support much earlier than current methods allow.
