Breaking the silence: Eye-Tracker gives voice to ventilated ICU patients

NCT ID NCT07251530

Summary

This study is testing a new tablet device that lets conscious patients on breathing machines communicate using only their eyes. The goal is to see if this eye-tracking technology is practical and helpful for patients who cannot speak. Researchers will work with 60 French-speaking patients in intensive care to see if the device can successfully help them send messages to their care team.
