Could a simple pupil test spot a dangerous brain pressure condition?
NCT ID NCT03304314
Summary
This study is testing if a new, quick eye exam can help detect vision problems caused by pseudotumor cerebri, a condition of high brain pressure. Researchers will compare how the pupils of 100 patients with the condition react to colored lights against the pupils of healthy volunteers. The goal is to see if this non-invasive test can be a useful tool for diagnosis and monitoring.
