First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests two different needle insertion spots (2mm vs 2.5mm from the edge of the eye) during a special lens implant surgery for children aged 4-18 with a rare condition where the eye's natural lens is out of place. The goal is to see which spot gives better vision correction and fewer complications. Fifty-four participants will be followed for 3 months after surgery.
