New eye scan may predict vision recovery after brain tumor surgery

NCT ID NCT04074642

Summary

This study tested whether a special eye scan called OCT angiography could help predict how well a patient's vision might recover after surgery for a pituitary tumor. Researchers compared this new scan to standard vision tests like visual acuity and visual field exams. The goal was to see if the scan could be a useful tool for doctors to better understand a patient's prognosis before and after surgery.
