Doctors test simple eye scan to spot dangerous brain pressure
NCT ID NCT07332234
Summary
This study is testing if a quick, non-invasive eye ultrasound can help doctors detect dangerous brain swelling and inflammation in hospitalized patients. It will involve 200 adults in intensive care with conditions like stroke, meningitis, or brain tumors. Researchers will compare the eye scan results to standard tests to see if it's a reliable tool for faster diagnosis.
