Eye injection showdown: can extra shots save diabetic vision after cataract surgery?

NCT ID NCT07301775

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to protect the eyes of people with diabetes who are having cataract surgery. It will compare whether giving one protective eye injection during surgery is as good as giving that injection plus two more injections afterward. The goal is to see which approach better prevents diabetic eye disease from getting worse after the operation. The study will enroll 166 diabetic patients aged 40 and older.
