New eye scan could revolutionize how doctors measure inflammation
NCT ID NCT01746537
Summary
This study is testing whether a special eye scan called optical coherence tomography (OCT) can accurately measure inflammation in the front part of the eye in people with uveitis. Researchers will scan 1,500 patients at the Cleveland Clinic who have this eye condition. The goal is to see if this scan can provide an objective way for doctors to track inflammation levels, which could help with monitoring and treatment decisions.
