New eye drops aim to halt Vision-Threatening cornea disease

NCT ID NCT07388069

ENROLLING_BY_INVITATION Disease control Sponsor: TheiaNova Ltd. Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study is testing a new eye drop called TN-001 to see if it is safe and can stop the progression of keratoconus, a disease that thins and warps the clear front part of the eye (cornea). About 20 adults with worsening keratoconus will use the drops twice daily for 3-6 weeks while doctors monitor their eyes closely. The main goal is to see if the drops are well-tolerated and if they can strengthen the cornea to prevent further damage.
