New eye drops target misery of seasonal allergies

NCT ID NCT06602739

Summary

This study tested whether two experimental drugs, given together as eye drops, could safely reduce the signs and symptoms of eye allergies caused by birch pollen. In this Phase 3 trial, 54 adults with a confirmed birch pollen allergy received either the real treatment or a placebo (a look-alike with no medicine) to compare their effects. Researchers measured how well the treatment reduced eye itch, redness, and tearing after a controlled pollen challenge.
