NCT ID NCT03464994

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study checked 152 children and adults with hereditary ichthyosis for hidden eye problems, especially a cone-shaped cornea (keratoconus). Researchers used special eye scans to look for early signs of cornea changes and dry eye. The goal was to understand how common these eye issues are in people with ichthyosis, not to test a treatment.
