First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This completed study examined 152 children and adults with hereditary ichthyosis to see if they have hidden eye problems, especially a cone-shaped cornea (keratoconus). Researchers used special eye scans to look for early signs of disease. The goal was to understand how often these eye issues occur in people with ichthyosis compared to those without the condition.
