Summary
This study looked at what happens to the lungs right after a breathing tube is removed in 34 adults who had planned surgery. Using a special non-invasive monitor, researchers measured changes in lung air volume and how air spreads in the lungs. The goal was to better understand this risky phase and improve patient care.
