Knee surgery recovery boost? new study tests 7-Day pill regimen

Summary

This study tests whether taking tranexamic acid pills for 7 days after total knee replacement helps reduce pain, improve function, and speed recovery. 350 adults scheduled for knee replacement will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug or a placebo. Researchers will track their progress for 2 years using surveys and range-of-motion tests.
