Zapping spots of spreading cancer could buy more time
NCT ID NCT06367972
Summary
This trial is for people with advanced cancer that has spread but is only growing in a few spots. It compares two approaches: using targeted local treatments like radiation or surgery on those few growing spots versus switching to a new drug therapy. The goal is to see if treating just the growing spots can help control the cancer for longer and delay the need to change medications. It is enrolling 400 adults with one of seven specific cancer types.
