Summary

This study tested whether a simple at-home writing program could help teens and young adults (ages 15-39) who finished cancer treatment feel less distressed about their body image and less anxious. Thirty survivors wrote about their body image for four weeks. The goal was to see if this approach is practical and helpful for reducing emotional distress.
