Summary

This study tests a long-acting injection given every 6 months to prevent HIV, compared to daily pills, in 1500 young men who have sex with men, transgender, and non-binary people in Brazil. Participants choose their preferred method and are followed for 2 years to see how well the shot works, how safe it is, and whether people stick with it.
