Summary

This study is testing whether using a robotic walking suit (exoskeleton) combined with gentle electrical stimulation on the spine can help improve muscle size and bone strength in people with long-term spinal cord injuries. Researchers will compare the effects of real spinal stimulation versus a fake (sham) stimulation during walking training. The goal is to find better rehabilitation options to reduce the risk of fractures and improve long-term health for people who use wheelchairs.
