Robotic suit aims to steady stroke survivors' steps

NCT ID NCT07356011

Summary

This study is testing a robotic hip exoskeleton to see if it can help improve walking balance in people who have had a stroke. Researchers will have 21 participants walk on a treadmill while wearing the device, which applies gentle forces to help stabilize their hips. The goal is to see if this technology can reduce the high risk of falls that many stroke survivors face.
