First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks (EXORA and ESP) to see which one better controls pain after gallbladder removal. The goal is to reduce the need for strong painkillers like opioids, which can cause side effects. About 114 adults having planned gallbladder surgery will take part. Both blocks are given before surgery to numb the belly area.
