New talk therapy aims to ease End-of-Life distress in advanced cancer patients

Summary

This study tests a new short-term therapy called ORPHYS for people with advanced cancer who feel deep fear, hopelessness, or loneliness. About 160 participants will either receive ORPHYS or standard support. The goal is to see if this therapy reduces emotional distress and improves quality of life.
