Summary

This study will measure exhaled carbon monoxide daily in 220 ICU patients to see if changes in this gas are linked to survival and recovery. It is purely observational, meaning no treatment is given. The goal is to learn whether this simple breath test can help doctors predict complications like kidney injury or longer hospital stays.
