Can targeted exercise outperform standard care for chronic hip pain?

NCT ID NCT05927935

Summary

This study is testing whether a 6-month program of supervised strength exercises is better than usual care at improving quality of life for people with a painful hip condition called femoroacetabular impingement syndrome (FAIS). It involves 120 adults aged 18-50 who have had hip pain for at least 3 months. The main goal is to see if the exercise program leads to better hip function and is a cost-effective first treatment option.
