First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested if leg exercises during dialysis or using a breathing device (incentive spirometer) can reduce fatigue and improve sleep quality. 102 adults on hemodialysis were split into three groups: leg exercise, breathing exercise, or usual care. After one month, researchers measured tiredness and sleep quality using standard questionnaires to see which approach worked best.
