Can pilates beat regular exercise for fighting frailty in seniors?

NCT ID NCT07458048

Summary

This study aims to see whether a Pilates program or a standard exercise program works better for older adults who are becoming frail or are already frail. Researchers will enroll 40 participants aged 60+ and randomly assign them to do either Pilates or conventional exercises twice a week for six weeks. The goal is to measure improvements in strength, balance, mobility, and overall frailty to find the best approach for helping this vulnerable group stay independent.
