Can simply moving more boost your workout benefits?
NCT ID NCT06270810
Summary
This study aimed to see if adding more daily movement to a regular exercise routine provides extra heart and metabolic health benefits for overweight young women. Researchers compared two groups over 8 weeks: one doing aerobic exercise alone, and another combining exercise with efforts to reduce sitting time and increase general daily activity. They measured cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, and fitness to see which approach worked better.
