First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at how different types of exercise—like high-intensity interval training (HIIT), functional training, and strength training—affect your heart rate and recovery right after a workout. Researchers will monitor 27 healthy, active adults before, during, and up to 72 hours after each exercise session. The goal is to understand the body's immediate responses to help design better exercise programs for everyone.
