Exercise after stroke may shield brain from dementia

Summary
This study tests whether starting a special exercise program soon after a stroke can help protect the brain from memory loss and dementia. Researchers will work with 126 people who had a stroke in the last 6 months. Participants will do a mix of exercises, and their thinking skills and brain health will be tracked over time.
