Early exercise may shield stroke survivors from dementia
NCT ID NCT07445841
Summary
This study is testing whether starting a specific exercise program soon after a stroke can help protect the brain and reduce the risk of memory loss and dementia. Researchers will compare two different 12-week exercise programs in 126 stroke survivors. They will measure changes in memory, thinking skills, and brain health markers to see if exercise has a lasting protective effect.
