Study tests if a walk a day keeps the doctor away for Men's health issues
NCT ID NCT07277673
Summary
This study is testing if adding aerobic exercise, like walking on a treadmill, to standard talk therapy (Cognitive Behavioural Treatment) is more helpful for men. It aims to help 40 men in Egypt who struggle with heavy drinking, impotence, and a cluster of health issues called metabolic syndrome. One group will get therapy alone, while the other gets therapy plus supervised exercise, to see which approach works better.
