First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a 12-week program combining strength training with Taiwanese opera activities could help older adults (65+) stay physically fit and delay frailty. 120 community-dwelling seniors in Taipei took part, with half doing the program and half continuing their usual activities. The goal was to see if this fun, cultural approach could improve muscle strength and independence.
