Could a new pill help veterans walk farther without pain?
NCT ID NCT05648630
Summary
This study aimed to see if a dietary supplement called PB125 could help Veterans with peripheral artery disease (PAD) exercise more easily. PAD causes leg pain when walking. Researchers wanted to test if the supplement, alone or with a supervised exercise program, could reduce body-wide stress and inflammation, potentially improving walking distance and quality of life. The study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
