Strength training may ease muscle weakness in periodic paralysis

Summary
This study tests whether a personalized strength exercise program can improve muscle function and reduce attacks in adults with hypokalemic or hyperkalemic periodic paralysis. Over 24 weeks, participants will be tested and fill out questionnaires at the start, at 12 weeks, and after 24 weeks. Between weeks 12 and 24, they will follow a supervised exercise routine. The goal is to see if exercise can ease symptoms and improve daily life.
