First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a specific type of exercise (called PNF-based upper extremity strengthening combined with core stabilization) can improve physical fitness in amputee football players. Fourteen players with a leg amputation will be split into two groups: one does the special exercises, the other does standard weight training. Both groups train for 8 weeks, and researchers measure changes in strength, balance, and sprint speed.
