NCT ID NCT07276308
Summary
This study aimed to understand how stress hormones and psychological traits influence how people feel during short, intense exercise sessions. Researchers followed 32 overweight or obese adults through a 10-week cycling program of high-intensity intervals. They measured stress markers, mood, enjoyment, and exertion to learn how to make exercise more pleasant and sustainable for this population.
