First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looked at whether taking additional images during a standard exercise stress echocardiogram can help doctors figure out if chest pain or shortness of breath is caused by a stiff heart condition called HFpEF. Researchers enrolled 30 adults aged 50 and older who were already scheduled for a stress test. The goal was to see if the extra information improves diagnosis and reduces the need for more invasive procedures.
