Quick exercise 'Snacks' prescribed to break Teens' phone addiction

NCT ID NCT07338058

Summary

This study is testing whether short, high-intensity bursts of exercise, called 'exercise snacks,' can help reduce smartphone addiction in teenagers. Over 200 adolescents at risk for phone addiction will be randomly assigned to either do these quick exercises multiple times a day during school or continue their usual routine for five months. Researchers want to see if this approach not only lowers phone addiction scores but also improves self-control, resilience, and physical fitness.
