Can 5-Minute 'Exercise Snacks' throughout the day keep older adults healthier?
NCT ID NCT07289529
Summary
This study is testing whether short bursts of activity spread throughout the day—called 'exercise snacks'—can help overweight adults aged 65 and older improve their health. Instead of one long workout, participants try several brief activity sessions that may be easier to fit into daily life. Researchers will compare this approach to standard exercise advice to see if it's more feasible and effective for improving fitness, body composition, and long-term activity habits.
