Can 'Exercise Snacks' outperform traditional workouts for seniors?
NCT ID NCT07335068
Summary
This study compares two exercise programs for older adults living in residential care. It tests whether short, frequent bursts of activity ('exercise snacking') are as good as longer, traditional exercise sessions at improving physical fitness, thinking skills, and chronic pain. About 75 participants will follow one of the programs for 12 weeks to see which approach works better.
