Scientists test if exercise helps bodies use food protein better in older diabetics
NCT ID NCT07477067
Summary
This study aims to understand how a 12-week exercise program changes how efficiently the body processes and uses protein from food in older adults. It will compare 15 people with type 2 diabetes to 15 without. Researchers will measure protein use, fitness, and gut bacteria before and after the exercise program to see if exercise improves the body's ability to use protein, especially for those with diabetes.
