New exercise program aims to keep seniors on their feet
NCT ID NCT04207307
Summary
This study tested whether a 6-month exercise program could help seniors living in retirement homes stay mobile and independent. 404 seniors participated, with half doing strength, balance, and endurance training twice a week, while the other half received their usual care. Researchers measured changes in physical ability, balance, fall rates, and quality of life to see if the program made a difference.
