Can a simple rehab program keep stroke survivors active for life?
NCT ID NCT02951338
Summary
This study tested a program called PROPEL, which combined group exercise with self-management skills during stroke rehabilitation. The goal was to see if this approach helped people maintain regular physical activity for six months after leaving the hospital. Researchers compared PROPEL to standard group exercise alone, measuring activity levels with monitors and questionnaires.
