Brain zaps during exercise: can they stop pain Flare-Ups?
NCT ID NCT07212829
Summary
This study aims to understand why people with chronic widespread pain or fibromyalgia often feel worse after exercise. Researchers will test if a mild, non-invasive brain stimulation technique (tDCS) used during exercise can help prevent this pain flare-up. They will study 60 patients and 60 healthy volunteers to see how exercise and brain stimulation affect pain levels and specific markers in the blood.
