First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at why people with chronic widespread pain (like fibromyalgia) often feel worse after exercise. Researchers will test if a gentle brain stimulation technique called tDCS, applied during exercise, can reduce pain and fatigue. They will also study genetic changes in the blood to understand the underlying causes. The study involves 60 patients and 60 healthy volunteers.
